Aussie Farmers Foundation was formed in 2010 as we strongly believe in assisting charitable organisations who are working alongside local communities to boost their strengths, plus, where there are gaps, look at ways to make a difference to the health and wellbeing of rural and regional communities.
Examples of these gaps include - lack of health services, social isolation, unemployed youth, mental health problems, agricultural issues as well as businesses moving offshore or closing down.
The 2012 granting round was finalised in July 2012 and all information on the organisations who have received grants from the foundation is on the website – click to read about the projects and services being funded.
It is only through your wonderful support that these organisations are able to receive these grants and we are most appreciative of your interest and involvement in the foundation. We encourage you to join us by contributing to the foundation – it's an easy process, here’s how to do it.
How to Support Australian Rural and Regional Communities
It's easy to do, here’s the process for how to add a donation to your Aussie Farmers Direct order:
- Log in to your Aussie Farmers Direct account.
- From the category list on the left hand side, select the
tab. - Select your nominated amount and click
- This will be added to your Weekly, Fortnightly or Once-Off order.
- Click on
to approve.
