If you still haven't resolved your query please visit our Help Page for different ways you can contact Aussie Farmers Direct.
What is Aussie Farmers Direct?
Aussie Farmers Direct provides a FREE* home delivery service bringing 100% Australian groceries direct from the farmer to your doorstep, saving you time, effort and money.
*Subject to minimum order requirements.
Which areas do you deliver to?
We deliver to all states across Australia, except Northern Territory and Tasmania, covering most metropolitan areas and some regional towns. If the website isn't able to determine your address simply give us a call and we can check the area for you.
How do I get started?
Firstly, check whether you live in a serviceable area and we can deliver to your home by simply completing the Sign Up process online, or calling our contact centre. Once you've received your confirmation email, log in to your account and place your first order.
What can I order?
Products include fresh fruit and vegetables from the 'greengrocer', delicious cuts of meat and seafood from the 'butcher' and a range of dairy, bakery items and general groceries from the 'milkman'. Order whatever you like, or try a pre-selected box containing a variety of seasonal fruit or vegetables.

What are the delivery times?
Depending on your delivery area your orders will be delivered either during the day, between 2pm and 7pm or during the night, before 7am. You do not need to be at home to receive your deliveries. Please refer to the delivery times that are shown on our website when you are placing your order.
Some delivery areas feature separate deliveries for Milkman/Butcher products and separate Greengrocer deliveries, while other delivery areas feature one combined delivery of all our products.
We try to make sure that you can receive at least 1 Greengrocer delivery and 2 Milkman/Butcher deliveries each week.
Please refer to the delivery days and times that are listed on the ordering calendar on our website when you are placing your order.
What if I need to set a delivery break?
If you are planning a holiday just log in to Your Account and select a delivery break, or give us a call and we can put your deliveries on hold until you return.
Am I tied in to a contract, and how do I pay for my deliveries?
Part of the convenience of Aussie Farmers Direct is that we do not lock you in to a contract - allowing you to order however much you need, whenever you need it. The easiest method of payment is with a credit card or direct debit, with your weekly purchases being charged Friday the week after your delivery - so you don't have to worry about paying upfront.
Are there any delivery charges?
Aussie Farmers Direct offers free delivery for most orders.
For Separate Milkman/Butcher Orders (if available in your area):
- for orders of at least 3 items, free delivery applies
- for orders of at least 3 items, free delivery applies
- the minimum Top Up Milkman/Butcher Order is 2 items
For separate Greengrocer Orders (if available in your area):
- for orders of at least $25, free delivery applies
- for orders under $25, a delivery fee will apply, which will either be $5.00 or the difference between your order and the $25.00 limit (you pay the lesser of these 2 amounts)
For Combined Milkman/Greengrocer Orders (if available in your area):
- for orders of at least $25, free delivery applies
- for orders under $25, a delivery fee will apply, which will either be $5.00 or the difference between your order and the $25.00 limit (you pay the lesser of these 2 amounts)
A donation to the Aussie Farmers Foundation does not count towards the 3 item minimum.
Our ordering system will automatically calculate any delivery fees when you place your order and by simply adding extra products to your order, you can reduce or remove any delivery fee.
What if I live in an apartment or block of flats?
Unfortunately if you have a secure door our Milkmen will not be able to gain access overnight and guarantee the safe delivery of your order. If you can arrange an alternative spot however, we are more than happy to arrange delivery. Fruit and veg orders are delivered in the afternoon, so it may be a more convenient time to gain access to your building. In both cases, please check with us first to see if your local milkman can arrange delivery.
How are my products delivered?
If you signed up online you'll receive a free esky with your first milk and bread delivery or if you were given an esky when you signed up be sure to leave the esky out the night before for your delivery. If you forget to leave out your esky we will still deliver your produce, and in some cases may leave a spare esky to be collected the following delivery. Fruit and veg will be delivered in a cardboard box each week. For food safety reasons we can't take or re-use these boxes, so please arrange for them to be recycled or re-used yourselves.
Can I make changes to my order and how?
Changes to your order can be made by 2pm the day prior to your delivery, apart from Monday deliveries which need to be finalised by 2pm Saturday. You can make a change by simply logging into Your Account online or by giving us a quick call. You can arrange a regular order and we'll deliver the same groceries to you weekly, fortnightly or monthly. Or, if you prefer you can just order what you want, when you want it by setting up a one-off order.
What do I do if I need to contact someone?
For an immediate response to your query it's always best to contact our customer service department by calling 1300 MILKMAN (1300 645 562). We're on the phones Monday to Friday 8am - 8pm and between 9am - 5pm on Saturdays (Daylight Savings EST). If you'd like to join in with our online community you can find Aussie Farmers Direct on Facebook and Twitter.
I received a product with a label saying 'Made from local and imported ingredients' - Why?
We passionately support Aussie farmers and manufacturers to source the best quality Australian produce available. Our products are always made from Australian ingredients, except in rare cases where the ingredient is not produced in Australia or available in commercial quantities - in which case we may be forced to go offshore for a small component.
Rest assured, this is only as a last resort so we can continue working with the many hardworking Australian farmers and manufacturers who so desperately need our help and support!
For example, we searched high and low for Australian grown cinnamon for our muesli bars with no success, so we've had to use imported cinnamon for this small component of the product.
If you know of someone who maybe in a position to supply us with a product which traditionally isn't grown or produced in Australia or isn't produced in commercial quantities, then please contact us
