Fruit Salad Slurpee
- Cantaloupe
- Honey dew melon
- Pineapple
- Bananas
- A cup full of each should do.
Method:
Place in a blender and puree.
Then add to the puree fruits a large cup of ice cubes and blend until smooth. Serve in a tall glass, garnish with a few mint leaves if desired.
Ingredients can be changed to suit taste.
Mango Lassi
- 1 cup Greek yoghurt
- ½ cup well-chilled milk
- 2/3 cup ice cubes
- 1 mango, peeled, roughly chopped
- Pinch ground cinnamon
- Pinch ground nutmeg
- Pinch ground cardamom
- Mint sprig, to serve
Method:
Blend the yoghurt, milk, ice cubes and mango until smooth. Add the spices and blend again, adding more milk if needed. Pour into a glass top with mint and serve.
Nashi Lassi
- 1 nashi, grated
- 1 sprig mint, finely chopped
- 1 cup natural yoghurt, well chilled
- 1 cup low fat milk, well chilled
- ½ cup pineapple juice
- 1 tablespoon honey
Method:
Combine nashi and mint in a blender and process until smooth. Pour into chilled glasses and serve immediately.
Delightfully refreshing, with the cool taste of fruit and yoghurt to invigorate and refresh.
