Fruit Salad Slurpee

  • Cantaloupe
  • Honey dew melon
  • Pineapple
  • Bananas
  • A cup full of each should do.

Method:
Place in a blender and puree. Then add to the puree fruits a large cup of ice cubes and blend until smooth. Serve in a tall glass, garnish with a few mint leaves if desired. Ingredients can be changed to suit taste.

Mango Lassi

  • 1 cup Greek yoghurt
  • ½ cup well-chilled milk
  • 2/3 cup ice cubes
  • 1 mango, peeled, roughly chopped
  • Pinch ground cinnamon
  • Pinch ground nutmeg
  • Pinch ground cardamom
  • Mint sprig, to serve

Method:
Blend the yoghurt, milk, ice cubes and mango until smooth. Add the spices and blend again, adding more milk if needed. Pour into a glass top with mint and serve.

Nashi Lassi

  • 1 nashi, grated
  • 1 sprig mint, finely chopped
  • 1 cup natural yoghurt, well chilled
  • 1 cup low fat milk, well chilled
  • ½ cup pineapple juice
  • 1 tablespoon honey

Method:
Combine nashi and mint in a blender and process until smooth. Pour into chilled glasses and serve immediately. Delightfully refreshing, with the cool taste of fruit and yoghurt to invigorate and refresh.
